Cayenne Pepper – A Fantastic Source of Antioxidants & other Beneficial Compounds

Cayenne Pepper drew my attention after having read an eye-opening book my mum had given me, "Left for Dead" by Dick Quinn. I advise reading it. Also known as the Guinea spice, aleva, cow-horn pepper, and bird pepper, Cayenne Pepper is believed having originated in Cayenne, French Guiana. This brightly-red coloured potent herb has been respected for its healing qualities since ancient times. It is rightfully nicknamed the "King of Herbs" and is considered to be more potent than any other herb. Cayenne Pepper contains Capsaicin, which is the stuff that makes your mouth feel like it is on fire. Capsaicin boosts your blood circulation and provides a number of health-improving properties such as delivering oxygen and nutrients to tissue, decreasing blood clots, and getting rid of spider veins and varicose veins. Studied extensively for its biological effects, Capsaicin has been found to be heart-protective, anti-inflammatory and beneficial on the gastrointestinal system, among other things. The famous herbalist Dr Shulze said, “If you master only one herb in your life, master Cayenne Pepper. It is more powerful than any other.”

A Good-Hearted Herb

Cayenne Pepper can be very beneficial for heart issues and high blood pressure. Dr Christopher said: “In 35 years of practice, and working with the people and teaching, I have never on house calls lost one heart attack patient and the reason is, whenever I go in – if they’re still breathing – I let them drink a cup of hot water with two teaspoos of Cayenne Oil in it, and within minutes they are up and around.” I myself prefer taking Cayenne Pepper by mixing two teaspoons of Macerated Cayenne Oil into a glass of fresh tomato juice as it reduces the hotness. Cayenne Pepper is known to be a powerful part of a holistic healing protocol. However, our Macerated Sun-Blessed Cayenne Oil is really taking this incredible natural health chilli further and giving you the full body benefits of this incredible Pepper. Cayenne Peppers contain at least 25 different health-boosting components, including Magnesium, Zinc, Selenium, Calcium, and Vitamin C. This tiny miracle herb can be used helping to treat a number of health conditions like cardiovascular issues, chronic pain, headaches, shingles, poor digestion, tooth aches, sore throats, bad circulation, high cholesterol levels, blood pressure issues, and heart attacks. It is not surprising that at Ancient Purity we all make sure we daily get some of Cayenne Pepper’s nutritional goodness!

Using Cayenne Pepper

To use Cayenne Pepper Oil, begin with a small dosage of ¼ teaspoon in 230 ml of filtered water or add it to your favourite fresh squeezed juice. Gradually increase the intake by 25% until you reach one tablespoon, and take it for at least 30 days to clean out your arteries and maintain their healthy state. Those preferring to take Cayenne Macerated Oil can consume 1-2 teaspoons daily. Don’t forget to take a break every few weeks and add a healthy natural sweetener such as Bush Apple Syrup or mix it with fresh fruit juice to lower its heat. At Ancient Purity we are all convinced that Cayenne Pepper does the impossible by giving us a number of health benefits and boosting blood circulation. I’ve visited several countries such as Indonesia, Thailand and The Philippines where people consume hot peppers almost daily and they all told me it is a Super-Food. Some people even ate the peppers raw! All health-conscious persons should definitely consider adding Cayenne Pepper to their diets. You’ll certainly benefit from it!
