UK Shipping
1. General Overview
At Ancient Purity we aim to dispatch your order quickly, safely and accurately. Orders are sent from our UK facility and are typically processed on the same working day if placed before 12pm. Orders placed after 12pm, or on weekends or UK public holidays, will be processed the following working day.
2. Delivery Times
Delivery times depend on your location and chosen shipping method. Once your order has been dispatched, you’ll receive an email containing tracking information (if applicable). You can then follow your order’s journey from start to finish.
If you have not received an order confirmation or tracking email, please contact us right away.
3. Next Day and Urgent Deliveries
If you require next-day delivery or a time-sensitive shipment, please choose 1st Class 24 at checkout and contact us by phone or email immediately. Most orders placed before 12pm are dispatched the same day (stock permitting).
Special Delivery Guaranteed Next Day or Saturday Delivery services are available on request and will require a custom postage quote.
4. Delivery Estimates
UK orders generally arrive within 24–72 hours depending on the chosen shipping method. 1st Class 24 is usually next-day delivery but not guaranteed due to reliance on third-party couriers. Please allow 3–5 working days for standard delivery before contacting us.
International delivery times vary between 3–21 working days depending on customs clearance and destination.
5. Tracking Information
Not all delivery services include tracking. Please check your original confirmation email for details. If tracking was included but you cannot locate your number, please confirm that your email address was entered correctly and then contact us for assistance.
6. Shipping Addresses
You may select an alternative delivery address during checkout. Please ensure that the details are correct before confirming your order.
7. Postage Quotes
Postage is automatically calculated at checkout once you’ve entered your delivery address. This allows you to see the exact postage cost before completing your purchase.
8. Delayed Deliveries
Please allow up to 3–5 working days for UK deliveries and 3–21 working days for international deliveries before reporting a delay. Delivery times may be longer during peak seasons such as Christmas or other UK holidays. If your parcel appears significantly delayed, please contact us so we can investigate.
9. Weekend Deliveries
Standard 1st Class 24 services do not guarantee weekend delivery. However, upon request, we can arrange a Saturday delivery via Royal Mail for an additional fee. Please call us to place these orders directly.
10. Collection in Person
You are always welcome to collect your order in person. Visit us Monday to Friday, between 10am and 5.30pm. Full directions are available on our Visit Us page.
11. Missed Deliveries
If you are not at home to receive your parcel, the courier may reattempt delivery or leave a collection note. Please contact the courier directly to arrange redelivery or collection.
12. Delivery Instructions and Neighbour Requests
We are unable to pass specific delivery instructions or neighbour requests to couriers on your behalf. You may be able to arrange this directly with the courier once your tracking number has been issued.
13. Carbon-Neutral Shipping
We do not currently offer carbon-neutral shipping options. You can, however, check with the courier linked to your tracking email for their available environmental options.
14. Shipping Method Changes
Once your order has been placed, we are unable to upgrade or change your chosen shipping method.
15. Public Holidays
We do not dispatch orders on UK public holidays. Orders placed on these days will be processed and dispatched on the next working day.
16. Dispatch Schedule
Orders are shipped Monday to Friday between 10am and 4pm. We do not dispatch orders on weekends or public holidays.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING POLICY
8. Availability
Ancient Purity ships worldwide, but some regions may be temporarily restricted due to customs regulations or courier limitations. The quickest way to check availability is through our checkout process. If your country is not listed in the dropdown menu at checkout, we are unable to deliver there at present. Availability may change, so please check back regularly.
9. Postage Costs
Postage costs for international orders are calculated automatically at checkout based on your delivery address, parcel weight, and courier options. If a quote cannot be generated, this generally means we are not currently shipping to your country. In special cases, please contact us to discuss alternative arrangements.
10. Delivery Times
Delivery times vary by country, courier, and customs clearance procedures. Orders typically arrive within 4–21 working days. Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive an email with a tracking link to follow your parcel’s journey.
11. Customs Delays
Customs inspections and delays can occur and are entirely outside of our control. Most customs processing takes up to 5 days, although in rare cases it may extend to 2–3 weeks. We ask for your patience during these times. Once tracking shows “released from customs,” delivery usually follows within a few days.
12. Duties and Taxes
Customs duties, taxes, or import fees may be applied by your local authorities. These vary by country and are solely the customer’s responsibility. Ancient Purity is not liable for any such charges. We recommend researching your country’s import regulations or using an online duty calculator before ordering.
13. Refused Parcels
If you choose to refuse your parcel due to customs fees or import restrictions, you remain responsible for the outbound and return postage costs. Refunds are processed only after the parcel is safely returned to us, minus shipping fees.
14. Couriers
We use trusted international couriers suited to your region. Available options will appear during checkout. At this time, we cannot pre-pay or estimate customs fees in advance, as these are assessed individually at your country’s border.
15. PO Boxes
We can deliver to international PO Boxes if the full and correct address is provided. However, please ensure the destination country accepts courier deliveries to PO Boxes before ordering.
16. Legal Responsibility
Customers are responsible for checking the legality of all products within their own country. If an order is refused, destroyed, or returned due to import restrictions or product bans, Ancient Purity cannot be held liable and postage costs will not be refunded.

3. UK Shipping

Standard UK delivery is generally 24–72 hours. 1st Class 24 is usually next-day but not guaranteed. Special Delivery Guaranteed services and Saturday deliveries are available on request and may require a custom postage quote. We cannot provide specific delivery instructions or neighbour arrangements; these must be arranged directly with the courier. We do not offer carbon-neutral shipping options at this time. Once an order is placed, shipping method upgrades are not possible.

International PO Boxes are acceptable if the address is correct. Customers are responsible for ensuring products comply with local laws; any returns due to legal restrictions are the customer’s responsibility.
5. Tracking Orders
Tracking information is sent via email once the order has been dispatched. Not all services include tracking. If you have not received tracking details, check your email address and contact us for assistance.
6. Missed or Delayed Deliveries
If you are not at home, the courier may attempt redelivery or leave a collection note. Check with neighbours or safe locations first. Allow at least 3–5 working days for UK delivery or 4–21 working days for international delivery before reporting a delay. Delays can occur during peak seasons or due to customs inspections.
7. Returns and Refunds – UK and International
We accept returns within 14 days of receipt for unopened and resaleable products. Customers are generally responsible for return postage except when items arrive damaged or incorrect, in which case we will provide a returns label. Please send returns to: Ancient Purity Ltd, The Dovecote, Little Braxted Hall, Little Braxted Lane, Witham, Essex, CM8 3EU, United Kingdom. Include your name and order number. Partial returns are accepted if items meet return criteria. Exchanges and store credit are not offered; refunds are made to the original payment method. Refunds are processed within 3–5 working days after we receive and check the item.
8. Damaged, Incorrect, or Tampered Items
If you receive a damaged, tampered, or incorrect product, email us immediately with photos and your order number. We will investigate and, where applicable, cover the return costs and replace or refund the item.
9. Missing Items
If an order is missing an item, check the invoice for “Out of Stock” or “To Follow” notes. If not indicated, contact us and we will investigate and resolve the issue promptly.
10. Customs and Legal Responsibility
Customers are responsible for checking local import regulations and ensuring that products can be legally imported into their country. We are not liable for customs duties, taxes, or refusal of parcels due to local restrictions.
