Q: Can you explain how the product is extracted from the earthworm?
A: The lumbrokinase in Boluoke® comes from farmed earthworms that are raised in controlled environments. To obtain the enzyme, the worms are humanely sacrificed. The active ingredient is then carefully purified using modern laboratory techniques to ensure safety and consistency. Boluoke® is considered the gold standard of lumbrokinase supplements because of its strict quality controls and clinical support.

Q: Whats the difference between Boluoke® and other Lumbrokinase products?
A: Boluoke is the only Lumbrokinase product that has undergone all phases of clinical trials and standardised enzymatic strength against tPA and urokinase activities. Lumbrokinase extraction and purification methods determine the composition of the various enzyme fractions and enzymatic strength, making Boluoke® unique from other lumbrokinase products on the market.

Q: If i'm on blood thinning medication can i take Boluoke®? 
A: Lumbrokinase has been shown to safely coexist with blood thinning agents in various clinical studies. It does not have any adverse interactions and does not increase the likelihood of bleeding beyond what is inherent to blood thinners. However, patients should always consult with their physicians before taking Boluoke while on any prescriptions.

Q: If i'm having surgery is it safe to take Boluoke®?
A: Prior to undergoing surgery, it is recommended to stop taking Boluoke at least one week beforehand. After surgery, patients may resume taking Boluoke15 days later, or earlier if approved by a physician. While some high-risk patients may continue taking a small dosage of Boluoke® post-surgery, it is important to consult with a physician first.

Q: Can you explain how the product is extracted from the earthworm?
A: Boluoke® is produced using a highly purified enzyme complex derived from the earthwormLumbricus rubellus. The process involves carefully isolating the active protein fraction (lumbrokinase) through multiple steps of purification and filtration, ensuring that no whole worm parts, tissues, or environmental contaminants are present in the finished product.The extraction is carried out under strict Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards. The final lumbrokinase enzyme complex is free from DNA and other non-protein components of the earthworm, making it a pure, standardised supplement.

Q: May I open the Boluoke® capsules and take it?
A: While preliminary coagulation tests indicate that Boluoke is still useful without the enteric coated capsules, patients are encouraged to take Boluoke® in its original capsulated format whenever possible.

Q: Is it safe to take Boluoke® and anti-platelet agents together?
A: Although there have been no studies looking at the interaction between Boluoke and anti-platelet agents, it is not recommended to use Boluoke with strong anti-platelets like Plavix or Ticlid unless under the supervision of a physician.

Q: is it safe to take Boluoke® and aspirin?

Q: I'm pregnant can I use Boluoke® ? 
A: While teratogenicity studies of Boluoke on animals showed no effect on pregnancy weight and fetal development, pregnant patients should not take Boluoke® unless it is approved and supervised by a physician.

Q: What are the contra-indications of Boluoke®?
A: Boluoke has several contra-indications, including allergy to lumbrokinase or earthworms, recent surgeries or punctures, high-risk aneurysms, internal bleeding or GI ulceration, bleeding disorders/tendencies, and taking anti-coagulants or anti-platelet drugs. Additionally, Boluoke® should not be used to replace Coumadin® unless patients refuse to take Coumadin® and the physician recommends it.

• Enzymatic strength is guaranteed (minimum 12,000 Lumbrokinase Units per mg; ≥1.6 million tPA units per capsule).
• In a large Chinese clinical study (over 1,500 patients across 16 hospitals), adverse reactions were rare (~1.9%). Reported effects were mild—primarily itchiness, rash, or mild dig?_ symptoms; no major bleeding was observed.

Q: Are there tests to see what an appropriate dose of Boluoke® would be?
A: Tests such as anti-plasmin, prothrombin fragment 1+2, thrombin/antithrombin complex, or soluble fibrin monomer levels may be used to determine appropriate dosages.

Q: Does Boluoke® affect PT or aPTT?
A: Boluoke does not significantly alter PT or aPTT, unlike other lumbrokinase sources.

Q: Can I take Boluoke® with Vitamin K2?
A: Yes Boluoke (Lumbrokinase) is compatible with Vitamin K. 

• Take 1 capsule daily 30-45 minutes before meals.
• If using with chronic conditions take 1-3 times daily,
• For severe hypoperfusion, a practitioner may suggest taking two capsules three times daily for 3 to 6 weeks.
• Even if the Lumbrokinase is emptied from the capsule, it's advisable to take the powder on an empty stomach.
• Children: The manufacturer recommends a therapeutic dose of 1 capsule per 8Kg (about 17 pounds) per day.
