Bec5® Curaderm Cream - The Researched Topical Cream with a Unique Biological Mechanism
BEC5 Curaderm emerged after more than twenty years of research by biochemist Dr Bill Cham, who identified a distinct biochemical difference between healthy skin cells and certain abnormal cells. The compound focuses on a sugar molecule called rhamnose, which is absent in healthy cells but present in specific abnormal ones. This targeted interaction is what makes Curaderm scientifically interesting and fundamentally different from conventional topical creams.
The active component is a specially purified extract derived from Solanum sodomaeum, also known as the Apple of Sodom, a plant traditionally studied for its bioactive compounds. Over time, BEC5 Curaderm has been the subject of multiple clinical investigations in Australia and the United Kingdom, including hospital based evaluations, with growing academic interest in its mechanism rather than cosmetic effect.
BEC5 Curaderm has been used by a large number of individuals worldwide and discussed by a range of medical professionals and researchers in integrative and investigative contexts. Ancient Purity supplies BEC5 Curaderm with care and responsibility, ensuring correct packaging, inclusion of the required surgical tape, and accurate presentation so individuals can research, understand, and decide from an informed position.
Q: Should I shower before using the cream?
A: Before use, just make sure you clean the affected with water and natural soap.
Q: How often must I apply BEC5 Cream?
A: It should be used at least twice daily but may also be used up to ten times daily depending on the type of lesion being treated. Please speak to your doctor or healthcare practitioner for direction in more frequent applications.
Q: The price has increased quite a bit since I last purchased, prior to November 2022?
A: Unfortunately since the beginning of November 2022, between an increase in base supply cost and a weakened exchange rate, we had no option but to increase the price in order to make it practical to continue supply.
Q: In the past, prior to November 2022, the book came free with the cream, why is there now a charge for the book?
A: Unfortunately since the beginning of November 2022, the supplier applies a fairly significant charge for the book. We are doing little more than passing on the new cost price.
Q: Are there any side effects?
A: In most cases, some degree of itching, swelling, redness, skin peeling and some drainage will be observed during treatment. A slightly burning or tingling sensation may be experienced for 30 to 60 minutes after each application. But don’t worry as this is a normal reaction.
Q: When should I stop using Curaderm?
A: Therapy with CuradermBEC5 is only stopped after the entire lesion has been replaced with normal skin and this depends on the type, size and depth of the lesion on the skin. Hence small BCC lesions can take one week of treatment and large lesions may take up to 14 weeks treatment.
Q: Can I cover the treated area with a dressing?
A: Yes. In fact, it is recommended to cover the application with a light dressing or micropore tape after applying the cream. This keeps the cream in place, prevents it from rubbing off, and protects the area during healing.
Q: Will the lesion look worse before it gets better?
A: Often, yes. The treated lesion may enlarge, redden, ulcerate, or look more inflamed before new healthy skin grows in. This reaction shows that the cream is actively working on the abnormal cells. Patience is key as the final cosmetic result usually improves once healing is complete.
Q: Can I use Curaderm on healthy skin surrounding the lesion?
A: Curaderm should be applied directly to the lesion only. A thin layer of Vaseline or natural balm may be applied to the surrounding healthy skin if extra protection is needed.
Q: What should I do if the cream causes too much irritation?
A: Some redness and irritation are normal, but if discomfort becomes difficult, you can reduce the frequency of application for a few days, or apply a soothing natural cream around (not on) the lesion. If irritation persists, consult your healthcare practitioner.
Q: Does Curaderm leave scars after treatment?
A: In most cases, once the abnormal cells are cleared, normal skin regenerates and blends with the surrounding tissue, often with minimal or no scarring. The cosmetic outcome is usually superior to surgery, especially for visible areas like the face.
Q: Can Curaderm be used alongside other treatments?
A: Curaderm has been used successfully as a stand-alone treatment, but if you are undergoing other therapies for skin cancer, always consult your doctor before combining approaches.
Q: How should I store the cream?
A: Curaderm should be stored in a cool, dry place and ideally refrigerated once opened. This helps maintain the stability and potency of the active compounds.
Q: Can I go out in the sun while using Curaderm?
A: Direct sun exposure on the treated area should be avoided during therapy, as it can increase irritation and slow healing. If you must go outside, cover the area with a dressing or clothing rather than sunscreen.
Q: Can I apply makeup over Curaderm during treatment?
A: No. Makeup, foundation, or concealers should not be applied over the cream or the lesion during therapy. They may block absorption of the active compounds and can also increase irritation or infection risk.
Q: Should I wash the treated area with strong cleansers?
A: Harsh soaps, chemical cleansers, or exfoliants should not be used on the lesion. Stick to mild, natural soap and clean water only before reapplying the cream.
Q: Can I pick at or scratch the lesion as it heals?
A: No. Picking, scratching, or peeling the skin can interfere with the treatment process and lead to scarring. Allow the cream to work and let the skin naturally shed damaged tissue.
Q: Is it okay to stop treatment early once the lesion looks smaller?
A: No. Stopping too soon risks leaving abnormal cells behind, which can cause regrowth. Treatment should continue until the lesion is fully replaced with normal skin, even if the area already looks improved.
