This Soap Bar is loaded with natural animal-based benefits, containing placental extract and Lanolin Oil that help renew and refresh ageing skin cells and provide the nourishment required for their active division and growth. With the added natural Soap cleansing benefits, it also has a very pleasant natural scent. Placental extract intensifies the synthesis of collagen and elastin, deeply moisturises, smoothes out wrinkles, improves skin tone, slows down ageing processes. Placental products are generally recommended for people aged 35 and up.

If you are keen on keto style skincare this is for you, at Ancient Purity we have one strict rule... Natural. The debate for animal products is something we have left many years ago, we provide products that work for all, whatever their beliefs, but the one thing we will insist on is absolutely nothing unnatural goes in or on your body. This soap is natural, it's sourced sustainably from Australian farms, the animals aren't bred for this soap rather its elements are byproducts of sheep farming. A tiny percentage of people are allergic to Lanolin, patch test first.

Lanolin

Lanolin is a waxy substance naturally produced as a protective barrier for sheep's wool. It's become a popular component of modern skin and hair care products, and soaps and is widely promoted as a natural skin issue remedy for people who are breastfeeding. Actually many doctors still recommend Lanolin to breastfeeding women. Lanolin works by reducing water loss from the skin, similar to petroleum. While petroleum can block in 98% of the water from our skin, lanolin prevents evaporation by 20% to 30%. Furthermore many infant care products also contain Lanolin, yet most people are unaware and it may be the most effective component of that product. It is used in products like baby oil and nappy rash cream. A variety of over-the-counter products use lanolin as well, such as eye creams, haemorrhoid creams, lip balms, makeup removers, medicated shampoos, moustache wax and shaving cream.

Many people who have used typical skincare products often with chemical and unnatural ingredients have failed to resolve their issue. However, there have been many who have discovered the natural choice of Lanolin and had results on issues such as dry skin (including the face, hands and lips) all of which benefit from Lanolin's moisturising ability. Actually it's particularly great for eczema-prone skin types and it's even been used to help expedite the healing process for minor scrapes, cuts, burns and irritation. It's obviously not a vegan product but the production of Lanolin is in our opinion working with nature, ultimately along with the use of the placenta in this soap, it's down to what you feel, the soap is here to try and at this moment we feel it's a natural sustainable and powerful option.

Sheep Placenta

Sheep Placenta has been used for many years to promote general health. It is also typically used by consumers to produce clear and healthy skin, free of wrinkles and blemishes. Although many people disagree on the benefits of this extract, in many areas of the world, it is thought to be a natural way to reduce the toll that age takes on the body. Like all mammals, when a sheep becomes pregnant, a placenta forms inside of her uterus. This placenta helps to provide nutrients and oxygen to the unborn lamb and is also responsible for helping to get rid of any waste that is produced. All of the nutrients in the sheep placenta help the unborn lamb to grow, but when the placenta is extracted, some believe that it can also provide numerous benefits to human health. Every placenta produced by pregnant mammals contains vitamins and nutrients, but sheep placentas tend to be more accessible and nutrient-rich. It helps to nourish the skin, accelerates tissue regeneration and improves absorption of moisture. Australian sheep placenta is known to be one of the best available and was our obvious choice when sourcing this.

One of the benefits to using products that include an extract of sheep's placenta is clear, beautiful skin that may seem to remain young, despite age. Sheep placenta has been shown to reduce the appearance of wrinkles, hydrate skin, reduce skin sagging, and reduce the appearance of freckles and blemishes. Many consumers have also found that it can be helpful in regulating the amount of oil produced by the skin on the face. Sheep placenta can be taken to help promote healing of certain types of wounds, and it may also be used to smooth out the skin and reduce the appearance of scars. Research has shown that sheep placenta contains nutrients, hormones and growth factors.
