Pau D'Arco Cream
It is reputed that Pau D' arco may be useful in fighting bacterial and fungal infections. Pau d’Arco is derived from the inner bark of a giant hardwood tree that is native to the Amazon rainforest in South America. Also known as 'Purple Lapacho' - infusions prepared from the bark of Pau d'Arco trees have been used by many rainforest tribes for over 2000 years.
Ancient Purity's specially made Pau d'Arco Cream, it has a truly amazing Amazonian scent, it is a pleasure making this cream because of this very reason, but more importantly it has some incredible soothing, tropically topical benefits.Interestingly unlike other trees in its midst, Pau D’ Arco does not develop fungus growth, one of the possible benefits of Pau D'Arco is its anti-fungal effects. Research on the bark by scientists have found Pau D'arco contains lapachol and beta-lapachone, it is these two compounds that help this tree provide important anti-fungal properties. (The compounds are noted for the activity against fungi and microbes.)
The bark also contains significant amounts of the antioxidant Quercetin. Pau D’Arco Cream contains natural seed oils known for their moisturising properties and their ability to help the skin retain moisture. So first included is Sunflower Oil and Spring Water, two simple ingredients that enhance this cream and allow you a real 100% natural topical cream. The Pau D' Arco Cream is complimented with some skin health boosting elements, the well known and effective Jojoba Oil and soothing Shea Butter. The hydrating Copaiba Milk proteins is the perfect synergistic ingredient to this healing cream. Copaiba is a stimulant oleoresin that is taken from the trunk of several pinnate-leaved South American leguminous trees (genus Copaifera).
